Zaylei will be cheering/dancing at ballgames at the high school and middle school during January and February.  Here are a few pictures of the girls practicing before their big debut.  They do pretty good for 4, 5 and 6 year olds.  We are a bunch of proud mommies!

Beads Beads and More Beads

Meme and Big Daddy gave Zaylei a set of Beads for Christmas.  She can make necklaces, bracelets, ropes, and many other things with all these beads.  She is loving it.

Randa and Winston gave Zaylei this Barbie that came with a stylist chair, hair markers that change her hair color, you can wash her hair and rinse it.  Very fancy.  She loves it.  Here she is enjoying it.

12-25-11 Christmas Day

Christmas Day was eventful as always.  We got up early to see what Santa brought.  Headed to church for a Christmas morning service.  Then off to Mom and Dad's to open gifts.  After that we headed to Nanny and Paw-Paw's for dinner and gifts.  Zaylei was exhausted by the end of the day.  Unfortunately Matt was sick all day so he stayed home in bed.  Then we headed to Mamaw's a couple days later to celebrate with Mamaw, Gary, Sherry, Jacob, Winston, Randa, Scarlett, and Lexi.  Matt was feeling better and got to go with us.  We had a really really nice holiday this year!

Time to head to church.  Pops read Zaylei and Grant a new Barbie book after church.

 Time for gifts at Mom and Dads.  Before we opened any gifts we told what our most precious gift was from the past.  It was a really nice time between family.  We shared lots of sweet memories.  Then if there was special meaning to the gift we gave this year we took time to share that.  An insignificant gift suddenly became something more with a few words.

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2011

Day before Christmas Eve Events!!!!

The day before Christmas Eve, Grandmother took Zaylei and I away for the weekend. We had a great time on our first girls getaway with Zaylei. We started out at Mom's house getting ready and making silly faces.

Next we drove to Nashville to the Opryland Hotel and checked in.

Yep, Shrek is on the premises.

The first thing we did on our getaway was go to see The Rockettes. It was a really great show. We had a great time and loved the show!

We of course had to buy the DVD and watch it a million times. We had to compare it to the show we saw. Zaylei loved all the outfits.

After The Rockettes we had dinner and then took photos of the Christmas lights at Opryland. The Nativity Scene was beautiful

The next morning we went to ICE. It was all the characters from Madagascar. We had VIP passes and didn't have to wait in line as well as we got in early so we had the place to ourselves. We got to take pictures in front of everything.

Zaylei got some donkey ears. Aren't they cute!

We are seriously bundled up for ICE.

We had breakfast with the characters. We met the "real" Shrek and Fiona.

Breakfast was really yummy!!!!!

We took a gondola ride before we left the hotel. It was such a wonderful weekend. Zaylei talks about it all the time and wants to go back to a hotel for a girls weekend with Mommy and Grandmother.
